Blog 5 Project Reflection and Working EQ

The pentagon:

(1) Positive Statement: What positive thing happen as a result of what you have completed so far?
- A positive thing that happened as a result of this is getting to know my professor more and getting to know Jiu-Jitsu and what it really is and what it means to other people.

(2) EQ Content:  Pick a piece of research or your interview.  How has it helped you improve your understanding of your topic?
- In my interview with my professor Albert he told be so much about what Jiu-Jitsu means to him and what it has really taught him about life. It taught me to see Jiu-Jitsu in a totally different perspective.

(3) What has worked for you so far in the senior project?
- A thing that's worked so far has been being able to talk to my professor and getting to know other people's view if this martial art.
- Another thing that's been working for me is finding interesting articles about the martial art that I did not know before.
(4) What hasn't worked so far?
- A thing that hasn't been working for me has been the library. They have no books on this amazing martial art.

(5) Finding Value:
  •  What is a potential question you would like to study this year?  (working EQ)
  •  What do you plan to do for mentorship?  If you haven't found a mentor yet, then discuss where you are currently looking and who you are talking to to find it
  • - A potential question that I ask myself is, "Is Jiujitsu a martial art that everyone should experience?".
  • I plan to study under my professor and his teacher, master Caique.
