1. When preparing for the Pan Americans, how might a student best prepare?

2. What techniques as a blue belt should the student already know? 

3. What techniques as a blue belt should he learn in order to have better competition sparring?

4. How much control should a blue belt have of his body if he's been training for 8 years?

5. What submissions should I already know?

6. How many times should I be drilling these movements before I get them perfect?

7. What moves should I learn for tournament sparring if I want to keep up with all the fancyness of other competitors?

8. How much should I be training for this tournament? How many times a week?

9. What should I be doing to mentally prepare myself for the tournament?

10. How do I mentally prepare myself for being in a bad position? 

11. When going for a submission, does the blue belt go for it right away or do I go to control first? 

12. Is control more important than goes for the submission? Why or why not?

13. How long should I hold the position before going for the submission? 

14. Should I stay basic with my submissions or should I go for more advanced moves that they don't see coming? 

15. Are advanced movements more dangerous than your basic Jiu Jitsu submission moves or movement?

16. Why when in a tournament, are more advanced moves more dangerous? 

17. Do your health choices make a difference in your performance as in how fast you move or think?
