Blog 3: Topic Choice and Semester 1 ESLR Goals

1. Topic: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

2. What do you plan to do this year to show growth in each of the ESLR's? Be specific and use an example. Some examples are the senior project, model assembly, getting involved with committees/ASB as a senior.

-Ipoly Citizen: This year as a senior will be a responsible Ipoly Citizen by turning things on time and being here on time and to also put effort into my school work and projects.

-Effective Learner: This year I plan to use my time wisely in class and not foul around. at home I plan to also use the time wisely and not be lazy. I will also try and create a outstanding model assembly.

-Effective User of Technology: In this I am hoping to get good solid research about my topic and being able to excel with no issue. To show this, I will be using my computers to get legit articles and being able to locate books on my senior topic.

-Effective Communicator: In this example I will planning to put my peoples skills to the test such as my listening skills and my communication skills. Being able to comprehend what people are asking me and being able to answer with a legit educated response. I've had some practice this these skills over my summer mentorship when I was having to listen to my students problems with their moves and trying to fix it for them.
